The newest patch for The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for Mac is now available! The compatibility layer software has been upgraded to the latest version. In effect, the game can now be successfully launched on OS X Lion 10.7.5 and OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2. All the improvements from the previous update (1.6.1), including enhanced performance, crash fixes and improvements to the process of graphics effects rendering, are also present in 1.6.2.

Users who have bought the game on Steam should have the game update automatically, everyone else can find the patch here, along with the full list of changes.
