Hidden away at Gorthur Gvaed, deep within the chasms of Tir Tochair, the School of the Viper existed for one purpose — to defeat the Wild Hunt. Witchers of the Viper School remained secretive and secluded as they gathered knowledge and investigated a means to defeat the spectral riders. Believing the ends justify the means in this endeavor, they were rarely picky in their selection of contracts – even for those that target humans and non-humans. Vipers are especially cold and ruthless. They are orderly, well-organized and maintain their neutrality, typically refusing to take sides, but will murder in cold blood if such need arises. Through their training, they learn to overwhelm their opponent with a flurry of furious attacks, and their mastery of preparing blade oils ensures that even the shallowest cut can easily prove lethal.
