For future reference, I'm starting a thread to report bugs and inconsistencies found while using any of the two language fixes.
Please tag your inconsistencies accordingly:

First of all state which language fix you're using: if it's English (original), tag 'Original' beforehand. If it's FinalEnglish (optimized), tag 'Optimized' beforehand.

Second, state specifically when/where in the game this happened:

General
Use this tag for general item descriptions/names, general glossary entries (characters, alchemy, ingredients, monsters, etc.), etc.

Prologue, Act I, Act II, Act III, Act IV, Act V, Epilogue
Use the above tags for act-specific dialogues, quests, and quest entries/items.

For example, if I'm using the English (original) language and I want to report that the flint's name is being displayed in polish and there's a polish tutorial entry, I'd write:
Optimized - General
1. The flint's name is being displayed in polish.
2. Tutorial pop-up about using swords has some polish/debug text.

Original - General - Vista64
1. The 'Language' key at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CD Projekt Red\The Witcher] has no effect on my Vista64. The key that actually affects the language on my machine is located at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CD Projekt Red\The Witcher]


Act II
1. Bear Bristle Inn is called Hairy Bear Inn in journal.
2. When getting Conrad's quest to get the wine from the abandoned house he calls it "win" on one occasion.

Thanks for starting a bug thread, I was thinking about doing the same thing yesterday.

English (US Version, DVD patch 1.2, not sure if that is original or optimized)

ACT I
When talking to Kalkestein on the bridge he mentions the Inn a couple of times as if he is still inside the Inn.

ACT II
When I walk around inside Shani's house, her grandma keeps walking up to me and talking to me as if I have entered the house from outside the street.  Sometimes I can't move more than a few feet after she talks to me, before the cut scene shows and she walks up to me again.  I have to keep repeating the same scene and dialogue while I slowly edge towards the stairs.

During a bar fight in the Hairy Bear Inn, I defeated my opponent, he fell down and then disappeared.  I was stuck in fight mode with no opponent and no way to zone out or talk to anyone inside the bar.  After walking around the bar and trying different things, I eventually had to reload from a previous save point.

Original

General
1. Hooker/Prositute is used in journal and item description instead of one consistent term.

Act II
1. Geralt says, "I'm hear about the notice" to the Gravedigger
2. Ramsmeat's house is called "Mutton House"
3. When concluding the investigation geralt says "I've figured out" twice at the start of the sentance when talking  to Declan lewaard(sp)
4. Tough fistfighter dialogue at hairy bear inn has [DEV] tags
5. At the swamp geralt subtitles say "farewell" instead of asking about berenger when talking to gramps
6. Gramps says "I'm sure to helpful to you"
7. Geralt says to gramps, "Likie I believe you"
8. Gramps says to geralt, "tyring to deceive you"
9. In the swamp Siegfied interchanges hevalters/hawkers
10. The 10 wolf pelts quest for Jean Pierre is 12 in the game text


There are more than this I'm sure but these caught my eye. Sometimes the voiceover sentence structure is better than the original script too, but I haven't spent any time trying to rewrite (yet)

  Then the thread title should be amended, because it is both ambiguous and unclear.  The words "Complete" and "Original" appear to be superfluous or nonsensical and I attributed them to bad grammar or an overly enthusiastic thread starter; as in "The most complete and original script, bug, and inconsistencies report [thread]!"  Your brief post, rather than illuminating the situation, actually muddled it worse, as you claim this thread is about "...1eyedking's language fixes," because the words "script" and "bug" appear in the title of the thread, but the word "language" does not.  Within the body of the 1eyedking's post he does mention, "two language fixes," but thought he was referring to differences between the Polish and English language 1.2 patches.

6. mushroom in cave quest plant is named "p_3030" or something similar
7. jethro says scythe/angus
8. blue eyes asks for 500 orens but text says flowers
9. Geralt says, "tell me about this lute.l"
10. salamander smuggling den place of power has text "[debug]miejce mocy"
11.during the bank robbery siegried is sometimes called zygryat

I just tried the Optimized English fix (optimized/2). It  made the Main menu english text disappear. However the "hot spots" for the different menu options are still there to click, so I managed to load a saved game (currently just beginning ACT III). Turns out all my "Quest New/updated/completed" popups are now in Polish.So I have to go back to the original script for now.

I'm on Vista 32.

EDIT: Running the orginal english script reg keys now does NOT restore the game text. Main menu text is STILL gone as well as the english quest opoups. VERY infuriating.

This happened to me once when I updated my graphics card's drivers. All I did was reinstall the game and the problem was gone.

Anyway, you could try deleting the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CD Projekt Red\The Witcher' string in your registry and then applying my Windows Vista fix.

The Vista and reg key deletion worked out. Thank you!

Original - Act III

1. Ladder to salamander hideout in the sewers is called "L18"
2. The salamander base mirror is called "ob_mirrorsal1"
3.Yearvin says "say your peace" in the salamandra lair"

Act IV

1. Place of power near the road to fields is called "majce mocy"
2. noonwraiths are sometimes called "midday ladies"
3. Geralt says to female innkeeper, "did i sense a note of bride", should be pride
4. Julian says "Granddad" a number of times
5.Subtitles have Geralt talking to alvin about wearing the medallion twice after playing dice with the ghoul
6. Subtitles for the scene where adam kills celina are written as if adam didn't run back to the inn.

No. The title is consistent with my other thread's. And we're not talking about program scripts.

Also, people, please state what version you are using (original or optimized).
