Missing Gore!?

hi there,

after a long break playing the orginial witcher (i guess it was patched to version 1.3), i continuing playing ....with the EE Version, now 1.5.
though playing the game i miss:

when i use aard and the enemy gets paralysed, from time to time gerald choped his head of .... i miss that now completly! (after i patched my game, i have never seen that again)

where you can see a blood puddle and some ragdoll effect on dead bodys by using aard .......i can't do that! anybody else?

i have got the german version of the game ..... wouldn't be the first time if we got censored.

You can't rely on this video because it's an old one with a user interface which didn't make it into the final version of the game  I think all other features you see there aren't reliable either.

The German version isn't censored. I have blood spatters and puddles... from time to time  when Geralt uses a blade enhancement which buffs bleeding or spends talents in certain abilities of the fighting styles (example. Strong style, steel sword).
The FCR mod has an additional feature which visually makes figthing more gory because you see blood and wounds when an opponent gets injured with a sword.

Aard doesn't work all the time, depends on how advanced the skill is and some opponents have a resistance / immunity to stun effects.
