The enhanced eiditon map?

So I'm sitting here, just bought the CE of dragon age, when something crossed my mind I never thought too much about.

On the inner flap of the box for the enhanced eiditon, it boasts everything it comes with in the box. The disks, the boxes the books..

and....

A map, and the map is there in 3d form folded up, and I've talked quite a few people as well who own this. None of us have in our hands, a map. I know theres a .PDF on the disk of the map but you'd be lead to think the set was supposed to come with an actual map.

Well I cant say for most but I have 2 copys of the CE and both came with fold up maps.

Well ya, the CE came with them. But look at the Enhanced Edition box.



That's EXACTLY what is shown on the inner flap of the box. and looks like the same exact thing that came with the collectors edition.



IS there any mention of this mess up ANYWHERE? Did a search on the forum and seems no one picked up on it.

I'm sorry I meant the EE not the CE  the copy's I have came with a Map.

Now depending  what part of the world you are at you could send  Atari  a Email and maybe they can send you one
I know when  ppl dint get there Reg key that's  what they did.

Mite be worth a shot.

I dont think there are anymore CE  for sale  you mite fine one on EBay but that would be it.
Some ppl have posted on EBay for the Medallion itself  but I'm told they where a bit over price.

Actually, if the bought version was a re-sale, some of the contents might be missing. That's what I checked on one EE and the booklet was missing.
Maybe that's the case?

I know about the Medallions sold on Ebay, some are even fakes as a cousin found out. Also, its very tricky if you're not in the U.S.
I'll be looking to buy myself a CE or any other version with collectible items and I might just get lucky. Who knows?
Now, I wonder if TW2 will have a CE? If so, how long 'ya think it'll last on the shelf??

Swerving back onto topic quickly, I'm also a little suprised at the EE box. I geuniely thought I'd been ripped off or something until I had a little investigation. I suppose the PDF style does have it's pros, but it seems like it wouldn't be as easy as just having written stuff.

For those missing pieces from different editions of the game (e.g. map?)... can't they just be gotten seperately from a retail source?

well to be honest, if I buy something like this, I expect it to be there, they advertised the map in it's foldable form, didn't say anything about a pdf lol, theres usually a spot in the packaging to store said map, of which the EE apparently doesn't have so no, I wouldn't buy it seperately to have it ruined of some sorts.
