Sry, but the search couidn't find anything but my problem. Think, the search has a problem, too.

Ok, here we go: Under ****** Vista I had no probs, to play the Witcher in the good old 1.1x Version. I had same problems to patch it to 1.4, though I stayed with 1.1. Now, as I said goodbye to Vista and stepped forward to Win 7, it is no more able, to play the witcher. The reinstall led me to a serious system warning about the "Tages Protection driver" and the game won't run. So I decided, to go for another try with the patches. The update-advisor on witcher.com led me to a polish download-site. With a lot of intuition power - my knowledge in polish speak is rather weak - I found the download button ... and hit it. I got a TWEE upgrade and tryed to install it. After a lot of klicking around, it says, that I have no speechpack. No one has told me, that I would need this and how it's name could be. After some try & error klicking links on the polish download site, I got a TWEE-english-language-pack. But that couldn't help me, because I have installed a german version.
A google search for "twee-german" led me to some torrent-files. I downloaded Azureus/Vuze, but there are no seeders (anymore?). How can I get the used files?

I love the game, but the service ... not nice

then patch your game to 1.5 with this one:
