We are pretty sure that you have taken notice of the fact that The Witcher is already 1 year old and has been sold in more than 1 million copies all around the world. On this occasion we would like to present you something more than a simple announcement and a bunch of great sales results. "Check it out"?  Brysiu, if you'd been here yesterday, you would have seen that the forum was bubbling over with excitement, speculation, screenshots, and various other sorts of ooohs and aaaahs.  Yes, I'd say the checking out has already begun.  :D

I had my husband watch it last night, and I was surprised at what a short time it took him.  Then I realized that it only took a long time if you went through it frame by frame.  :-[  :D

At the Game Trailers site, after you've finished watching the movie the regular way, it's still there, even though the screen is dark.  At the bottom right are two arrows: >> and <<.  If you press << briefly, it will go back one frame.  If you get it to go back all the way, pressing >> will get it to go forward one frame.  (That's how I got the screenshot for Raven and the one of the blue-eyed wolf.)

Seeing it all frame-by-frame reminds me of how much I like the intro and outro Geralt better than the in-game one.  Oh, the in-game one is nice, just fine for a game, but his eyes look rather blank, whereas in the cinematics, there's somebody home behind his eyes.

Well it's not my idea but someone on Polish forum said that everything is connected with the winter or (cold blue eyes :) )

Given how much attention the makers of The Witcher pay to detail, I'd say these guys do nothing without a reason.  As for what the reason is, your guess is as good as mine.  Mike has a guess that's not unreasonable, though I would think that the time the GM was attempting to prevent would be further away.  Other possibilities?  A new enemy, a blue-eyed child for Geralt; the possibilities are really endless, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.  And allow me to add:  SQEEE!  :D

You guys are doing all the right things. 

Now take that million-selling money and make good, old-school PC titles and don't sell out to some giant corporate publishing house!.   :)
