We have to admit – Geralt has been slowed down a bit on his trip to Germany. Most probably there were some scoundrels on his way, looking forward to grab a hefty sum of money from his purse. But fear not – the witcher is hard to kill, and he will come eventually to your retail outlets. Gamers in Germany who await impatiently the day of release of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition will have an opportunity to grab a copy of the game from shelves starting from September 25.

I Hope the German User have The Orginal Witcher and cant download The EE patch Yes, I have the original The Witcher Steelbox and the Collectors Edition(without Playingcards and without medaillon), and - just like you wrote - I CAN'T download the EE patch right now...  Very strange, I bought a german retail copy today in Switzerland. How's the status in Austria, do they have the game aswell?

sad, sad, sad I like this great worldwide release! I mean, in may this was one of the statements... a nice worldwide release on the same day. Andn now it has come true, a worldwide release on one day! US 16th, russia 18th, rest of the world 19th and germany (I am sitting here) on 25th for the retail. Amazing and a well done job Its just good that I own the original version and should be able to download it later today. Bzw. lunati, no one is able to download the content right NOW, so it isn't said that we have to wait til 25th for download too... if we have.... well than I will get realy angry... |

And why is that? What reason does Atari have to postpone it for a week? Obviously it is on sale in other german speaking countries. An official statement would be very interesting! And what about the downloadable content for those who already have the "first edition" of the witcher in their shelves? Are we not allowed to download when everybody else in the world is able to do it? |

Can someone confirm this? Quite strange, because www.wog.ch says release date is 24.09.08. Where did you buy it (Which Store)? Kann dies jemand bestätigen? Sehr seltsam, denn auf www.wog.ch ist das releasedatum auf den 24.09.08 festgelegt. In welchem laden hast du es gekauft? |

I preordered it last week by www.wog.ch, but they moved the send date from 17.09 to 24.09 two days ago in the evening. So yes, I'm just pateintly waiting |
