The day has come! The Witcher: Enhanced Edition ships today to stores in North America

If you live in North America… or perhaps you’re simply visiting your aunt who lives there, you should consider putting your clothes on (or not) and running as fast as you can to the nearest retail outlet in order to grab the brand new The Witcher: Enhanced Edition box off the shelf. Yeah, the ultimate version of The Witcher is finally here and it’s waiting for you!

Clear some room for all the goodies included with the game, like the D’jinni Adventure Editor and two new adventures, a Making-Of DVD, the Music Inspired by The Witcher CD and the official game soundtrack, not to mention an official game guide, the game manual (in a pdf file), a short story written by Andrzej Sapkowski and a map of The Witcher’s world. If you already own The Witcher, you will be able to get a downloadable version of the Enhanced Edition totally for free starting September 19. If you’re somehow able to resist getting your copy right now.

BTW, are the medallions and the dice game ever going to be going on sale internationally as individual items? I see that you guys have a "Merchandise" links set up on the main Witcher flash site, but that link is not active (unclickable). Are you going to be opening a Witcher merchandise store anytime soon?

As the title says,  EE ships today.
Does anyone know when or where it will actually arrive and be available? And in which stores first?
My closest retailers are bestbuy, gamestop, eb, target and walmart.
I have to travel a bit further to a circuit city.

I just 'made my own' dice game, as it were. Went to a gaming shop in London and bought ten die, and then went to another shop and bought a small wooden box with a hinge lid which opened flat. That's all that's needed.

Wows... guess I missed the download date somewhere on the website before now.  Under the impression that 16th release date in the US meant the 16th.   O well…. Waited 300 days already what’s 3 more I can always read the book while I wait.

you mean it can not be downloaded today? Another delay? I'm not surprised.They never have been very clear or forthcomming with information have they?If the improvements are as apparenty massive as we have been told it would have made sense to start the downloads when it was finished so the people who got it could all gush and praise it. That would be free word of mouth advertising. I mean it is obviously done and has been for a while since it is on disc. I only hope they didn't keep it from us because they thought maybe we wouldn't praise the improvements

Friday!?  Oh, well, I've waited this long.  I guess I can wait a couple more days.  Hey, at least it's free for us die-hard Witcher groupies!  I stopped playing the game when I heard about the enhanced edition.  I swore that I would wait before touching the game again.  I must admit, guys, I've got an itchy trigger (sword) finger.
