We would like to present you the first new adventure that was developed for The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. It is titled
‘The Price of the Neutrality’. The story starts when Geralt returns to his home at Kaer Morhen to spend the winter with other witchers. He believes that it will be another calm winter, with a lot of sleeping, resting and feasting. Unfortunately, destiny has other plans.Things start to go wrong at the very beginning of the adventure, when he finds a small camp near the stronghold. Kaer Morhen is a rather secluded place that no one knows about – at least until now. What’s more, the camp is full of soldiers… and you know how it is – if there are soldiers nearby, trouble is sure to follow.
It turns out that the person responsible for the whole mess is Sabrina Glevissig, a sorceress chasing after Deidre, a very sophisticated woman with a lot to hide. First of all, she is a princess of Calingorn. That would be great, were it not for the fact that her brother is doing everything to get rid of her, because he wants to take over the throne. She also happens to be cursed by the Black Sun, which is the reason why Sabrina wants to get her. She wants to put Deidre through a series of medical experiments to learn more about the Black Sun. Unfortunately, to perform these experiments, the object must be dead and it’s no surprise that Deidre has some objections. If that’s not enough for you, then what if I told you that Deidre is Eskel’s unexpected child? Satisfied? So, allow me to sum up - we have a royal conspiracy, an ancient curse and an unexpected child. Sounds like a job for Geralt. As usual, no one asks Geralt if he wants to be involved in the goings-on. He will have to decide who’s trustworthy and who is worth helping. Unfortunately, it will turn out again that sometimes there are no good solutions, only a lesser of two evils.We don’t want to spoil the game, so get the adventure and reveal all the secrets on your own!
