The Witcher Forum Rules
Welcome to the official forum of “The Witcher” computer game. This forum has been brought to you in order to create an international community for fans of computer games (especially RPG), Andrzej Sapkowski, and, first of all, the game created by the CD Projekt RED. We do our best to meet your expectations concerning the forum. We also count on your contribution to our internet community. The following rules have been created for the common good and apply to every user:
1. Basic Rules
The following rules are to be followed on all pages and subpages within the domain and the subdomains of

www.thewitcher.com is constantly monitored by Moderators and Staff Members of the CD Projekt RED. They can delete any comment or block the possibility of adding any further ones without giving reason.
• In cases of any problems not regulated by these rules you are to comply with the Moderators’ decision.
• Decisions of the Moderators or the CD Project RED Staff Members concerning the User or their opinions are private matters between the CD Projekt RED and the User, and are not a subject of discussion on
www.thewitcher.com. If you think you’ve been mistreated by the Moderators or the CD Project RED Staff Members or treated against the forum rules, you may demand an explanation. All unresolved matters of argument concerning work of the Moderators or the CD Project RED Staff Members are to be settled via e-mail or else shall be null and void.

2. It is forbidden:
To insult others or use foul language
• To use the words commonly considered as inappropriate and especially to address them to other users
• To laugh at/ridicule other users, the CD Projekt RED Stuff Members or other persons
• Broadly understood spoiling of the fun for other users of the page (especially real and virtual threats, slander, insult based on beliefs, religion, race, sex, ethnicity etc.)
The user who commits one or more of the aforementioned offences on the forum may face:
• A warning by a the Moderator or the CD Project RED Staff Member (if the offence was negligible or did not harm others in any way)
• Temporal or permanent ban from
www.thewitcher.com• His/her e-mail address and IP being reported to the respective institutions or authorities dealing with such offenses.
Piracy
• To propagate piracy; especially to offer, share or post warez links (to games, movies, music, programs, books ... etc.) or links to pages from which illegal files can be downloaded. It is also forbidden to engage in any other form of activity that may be considered, directly or indirectly, as the propagation of piracy.
• To post questions concerning pirated software and especially asking where and how to download such files (games, movies, music, programs, books ... etc.), where to find so-called "cracks", or to make any other queries about pirated games and other such files.
The user who commits one or more of the aforementioned offences on the forum may face:
• A permanent ban from

Law-breaking
• To break the abiding law in any other, not mentioned above, way or to breach the norms and rules of the community (especially to propagate pornography, drug abuse, violence, racial or religious hatred, disclose private correspondence without the permission of its author... etc.) in one’s statements posted on the forum

3. Final provisions, User’s etiquette

• Try to write in a matter of fact manner and up to the point.

• Try to write grammatically. If you find it difficult – use a text editor. Attention to grammar is considered to be a sign of respect.
• Read what you have written before you post a comment. Before you start a discussion or ask a question (not to mention adding a new topic), make sure it has not been done already. Use the search engine.
• Do not post, if you have nothing to say.
• Do not add any comments to a meaningless or doubled post.
• The forum is not a place to go about your private business or gossips.
• Do not post any adds, offers or statements like buy / sell / change / I’d like to invite... / I’d like to inform... The forum is not a noticeboard!
If you commit, despite the above hints and warnings of the Moderators or the CD Project RED Staff Members, the same offence repeatedly, the Moderator or the CD Project RED Staff Member may:
