I’ve got a small guest feature on my blog today. The entry is mainly (Both, me and Borys couldn't stop ourselves from adding some biting comments) written by Eriash , our magician in charge of the community. He’s the only one who got up the gumption to present our PR & Marketing team in a less than serious vein. I hope you like it :)
Enjoy – http://blogs.ign.com/PanKarol/

Yeah, we know, we’ve been blasting you with all kinds of reviews, tests and descriptions of the Enhanced Edition. Some of you might be totally fed up with it, but you have to see our side of the story – when you spend a year of your life on working on something, then you want to brag a little when it’s done. Everyone wants to be a show-off from time to time :)

You probably remember that, some time ago, we had a special event – The Witcher’s first anniversary. Because of that monumental occasion, we had a little party to celebrate it the ‘right’ way. What does that mean? You know… drinking, dancing, feasting and all the other activities associated with having fun.
We figured that some of you might want to have a little ‘sneak peak’ at what this sort of thing looks like, so we recorded some video footage from the party. Unfortunately we had to do a bit of postproduction to remove a few scenes that shouldn’t be shown to kids… or anyone, really, because of the negative effects on your moral standards.
Today we would like present it to you, so please take a look – I hope you enjoy it :)
You can view it HERE

We have real good news for you - especially if you are from Russia!
After a long time of having technical problems and issues, the Russia official site of Andrzej Sapkowski is back to the game! It has received a brand new life and a brand new domain. Now you can find it at www.sapkowski.su .
.
You will find there dozens of materials related to Andrzej Sapkowski, his books and whole Witcher’s world. A great collection of articles, arts, reviews and unique projects makes a great place to learn everything about the author and his work. It’s also the best thing that you can show to your friend, if you want to ‘infect’ your friends with The Witcher.
This site is prepared by the same team as Chronicles of Kaer Morhen (www.witcher.net.ru).
It’s great to hear that the community is growing bigger and bigger every day. Soon the world will be ours :)

The launch of a game or the announcement of great sales results can be great opportunities to ask developers about their projects and plans for the future. Because ‘The Witcher’ has recently celebrated both of these occasions, naturally it’s our turn to share some thoughts about the past, present and future.
Today we would like to present you two interviews with Michal Kicinski, recently completed by EDGE (English) and GAMESTAR (German) , as well as one article on DTF (Russian) .

We are pretty sure that you have taken notice of the fact that The Witcher is already 1 year old and has been sold in more than 1 million copies all around the world. On this occasion we would like to present you something more than a simple announcement and a bunch of great sales results. In fact, it was a perfect opportunity for us to make a special movie, summing up our past and showing tiny bits... of the future. Yeah, alongside with some nice The Witcher material we are going to show you some totally new stuff from our yet-to-be-announced projects! Check it out and enjoy!

All the ghouls, vampires and wenches in the world couldn’t stop the white-haired Geralt from conquering the world! CD Projekt RED is proud to announce that The Witcher, the epic RPG that puts players in the morally lenient boots of the aforementioned anti-hero, has sold more than a million copies to real, live people since its release twelve months ago. Scientific research has proven that those sales numbers are quite good for a debut game based on a relatively unfamiliar IP from an unknown studio on a “dead” platform.
The news comes just weeks after the release of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, which was developed based on fan feedback to further improve the game that was named PC RPG of the Year by IGN, GameSpy, PC Gamer, Play and many more. The studio spent close to a year improving various facets of the game to deliver the ultimate role-playing game, then released the update for free to existing fans and loaded the retail package with extra value to encourage retail sales. As always, it seems that the customer is always right, as the Enhanced Edition is getting higher review scores than the original across the globe.
"The Witcher delivers one of the most intense and rewarding role-playing experiences this year."
