Writers Guild of America - organisation of American movie and TV writers has announced nominations in the "Videogame Writing Award" category.

Among the nominated ones there are people responsible for The Witcher. WGA have nominated: Artur Ganszyniec (Lead Story Designer), Sebastian Stepien (Dialogue), Marcin Blacha (Additional Dialogue) with Sande Chen and Anne Toole. Writers Guild of America has honored videogame writers for the first time in their history.

The Witcher, created by CD Projekt RED, is the biggest and best-selling game in the history of polish videogames market. There have been sold more than 100 000 copies of the game about the adventures of Geralt of Rivia in Poland. The Witcher has also received a very warm welcome in many western countries and has been appreciated by polish and foreign media.
