The first 3-month fiction era have just begun in the Witcher: Versus!

The relations between humans and other races inhabiting Wyzima having deteriorate, a bloody outbreak takes place. Order of the Flaming Rose sets about defending the city and suppressing the outbreak. The conflict turns into local war on freedom for nonhumans.

You must decide which side to opt for. Will you join Order of the Flaming Rose to hunt for the rebels, or support Scoia’tael to fight for freedom for the nonhumans?

CD Projekt RED at Games Convention - Finish

After very long and exhausting week, Games Convention gaming fair has come to an end. Saturday, which is the last day of exhibiting in the business hall is usually sleepy and boring - our booth excluded :) - similarly to previous days CD Projekt RED's booth was surrounded by guests eager for good games and, in addition to that, good beer. Very busy day has ended with RED team having fun at an unofficial party attended by many other publishers.

And thats how another successful Games Convention fair has ended.

The Witcher Versus - Epic conflict, rebellion, decisions, traitors and army hierarchy...

It starts tommorow! In the capitol of Temeria outbreaks the uprising of Scoia'tael, and the Order begins to fight down the revolt. Turbulence absorbs everyone. Sorceresses always poke's their noses into everything, Frighteners coaches wants to get rich, and known of their neutrality Witchers have to choose „lesser evil” - in the presence of war no one can be indifferent.

Each and every one of you is going to choose, wich side of conflict is closer to his heart, and will join the Order as a Soldier or the commando of Scoia'tael as Scout. Defeating members of opposite fraction you will gain points and consecutives ranks – Squire/Bandit, Knight/Bandit and... few more.

Good new for enthusiasts of rating – event will have its own rating, and below this rating you will notice indicator showing which soldiers have more wins – that is which side has the advantage.

As it happens on war – some people, after seeing its cruelty closly, could change their opinion on the situaton and betray... Stand on the opposite side of barricade, fighting with recent brothers-in-arms.

Struggle will last at least 3 months. Fact which side wins will be a decisive factor in deciding about new class in Versus.

CD Projekt RED at Games Convention - Day 4

Fourth report from RED Team members at Games Convention:

Day 4 was also a day of hard work presenting the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher to everyone, who showed up at REDs booth – and there were plenty of them. The movie room and presentation stands were full all day long so we didn’t have too many opportunities to rest :) Apart from the before mentioned Enhanced Edition, The Witcher: Versus was also in demand among the public. This browser game is presented by Michał Madej, who can keep up the visitors’ interest even if there is a minor Internet failure :)
