Apart from Reader's Choice voting, which takes place at Shacknews, the site has published its own awards for the best games of year 2007. In the RPG of the Year category The Witcher has won, among all winning with Mass Effect and NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer. The game has been also honoured in Gamezone as a runner-up in "Most surprising Game of the Year" category and a finalist in "PC Game Of The Year". What is more, Gamezone's readers may now vote for the PC Game of the Year, and The Witcher is of course one of the nominated candidates!
